Happy Spring everyone!

There is a great little book entitled “The Dip” by Seth Godin, perhaps available in your local library. The sub-title is: “a little book that teaches you when to quit (and when to stick)”. It is only 76 pages long but thought provoking! It is full of interesting and intriguing observations about decision making affecting all aspects of our life. His ideas helps one determine whether you are in a cul de sac, about to fall of the cliff or just in a dip heading for being the very best you can.  Here is one idea which seems relevant to this glorious time of the year: “The opposite of quitting isn’t waiting around. It is redirection/an invigorating new strategy designed to break the problem apart.” If you are emerging from a winter “stall”, this little gem of a book might give you a big dose of inspiration and energy to determine new directions.

We just received several shipments of beads…new colours and textures which give us many ideas for new projects. Since we just finished a course on Intuitive Beading, the new range of seed bead colours, especially in size 15’s, are appealing.

The special events for this month are Mother’s Day and our annual visit to Truro, Nova Scotia. Carrie and Tammy, a former employee, are looking forward to the wonderful experience we always have during the visit there. The rest of us will miss seeing those who are able to visit.

Best wishes for a happy and creative spring!
